This is not me, this is a question someone recently posted and I decided to reply. Sometimes churches or so called “religious people” can actually do more harm than good!
I personally don’t attend church, for some of the same reasons you mentioned. However, I do have a very deep belief in God, and I do put all of my faith in the Bible and study it often.
I would encourage to you keep an open mind in life, and if you are upset with your church, don’t let that affect your belief. I once heard a great quote, “If you ever find the perfect church, don’t join it…you would ruin it.” I always thought that was funny but true. There is no perfect church.
You may want to change churches, or just study and worship God independently with your friends or family or something (or talk to people online).
Also, it is perfectly normal about having questions and frustrations. There are many tough questions about God, and the Bible also has some difficult passages in it. But there are lots of great websites onlinte that can help you understand things.
My experience has been that when I find something I don’t understand in the Bible, I can almost always find a logical and reasonable explanation after a little research.
