A picture is worth a thousand words. That is why I like to show a picture rather than actually type a thousand words sometimes lol. But I thought I would actually try to illustrate in cartoon format an event mentioned in Revelation, which beyond any doubt shows that Jesus isn’t God, but the Son of God & Messiah.
I know everyone has their own views on religion, and I totally respect that. I love to talk religion with others. However, I also feel the bible makes the proper theology abundantly clear for those seeking the truth and not just swallowing whatever doctrine their pastor, church, or parents prescribes, which was built on corruption in the early church.
So I hope no one takes offense at this at all. Again, I would rather someone be a Trinitarian or Oneness/apostolic person any day over being an atheist. I know God realizes your heart is in the right spot (just not your theology he he).
Also, please don’t consider what I am doing as trying to make a joke of God or Jesus. I am not at all. I love them both totally, and I am trying to share their message. I believe God is the all-powerful God of the Bible, and I fully give my life to Him. I also believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, who died on the cross and lived a sinless life, and now sits at the right hand of God almighty.
Anyways, here is a picture of each belief being summarized (for comedic effect). Which theological doctrine sounds the most logical???
A Cartoon of Jesus & God in a Trinity: Is the Trinity True?
The trinity is (in my opinion), complete non-sense and not biblical based at all. It was a doctrine created by the early church in an attempt to make Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God all the one God, yet at the same time still distinct.

The Trinity
The trinity teaches that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all 1 God (somehow “mysteriously”), yet at the same time they are manifested in 3 distinct “persons” at all times (“mysteriously”). So 3=1, and 1=3, and also 1+1+1=1. Incredible math!! I stress the “mysteriously” word because no person can explain it. If debating with a trinitarian, at some point they will say 1 of 2 things:
1. It is a mystery. We have no idea. God is a mystery how he works. (this is the biggest cop-out of all time). God is easy to know. He has revealed himself adequately enough to know he is one, and there is no other ALL-Powerful God besides him (he only says it about a million times).
2. They will say something like: Our human minds can’t possibly understand God’s complex way of existing. Yeah right! Give me a break. It doesn’t make sense because it isn’t true. Just like no one can understand the “mystery” of how much the color blue weighs, or how many corners a circle has. It is illogical, not a mystery!! It isn’t true! Your mind will go crazy trying to figure it out!
Remember: It isn’t a “mystery” at all. It is a non-sense illogical belief (in my opinion). Again, I mean absolutely no disrespect at all. I am merely expressing my views based on the bible. I have many Trinitarian friends & family, and they know I still love them & respect them, and they put up with me, so please put up with me too. We merely disagree, I still love you friends!
The easiest way to disprove the trinity is to quote Jesus as saying the Father is greater. Now, I must warn that they will say, “It was because he was in the flesh that he said the father was greater.” This isn’t true, and Jesus never said that. That is adding words to Jesus’ mouth. He never said the father was greater ONLY because he was in the Flesh!
Even more, God is still “Granting” Jesus stuff indeed in Revelation. An equal cannot “Grant” you higher authority. Does your boss give you a raise? Is he of equal or greater authority than you at your job? See what I mean. Not only that, Jesus said he can do “Nothing” without the father. Seems like if Jesus is 1/3 God, he could have done something without the other 2/3′s??? And if Jesus has always existed, why on Earth does the bible make a point to say he is God’s begotten son? Begotten means created people! God has no creator!! That is fundamental God belief right there. It says Jesus is the firstborn of creation…HELLO!
Again, all of this nonsense when Jesus never claimed to be God, but only the Son of God & Messiah.
What About a Oneness View that There is One God, and Jesus=God? Is Jesus Just a Manifestation of God?
This is the easiest of all to disprove! Again, total respect & love for my good Christian friends out there who believe this. But it is easier to disprove than the trinity, believe me! We can have simple discussion, right? The bible even says we should discuss & study the scripture for false doctrine, that is what these pictures are about, trying to uncover fasle doctrine (or illogical doctrine at least).
The trinitarians are smart about 1 thing, that Jesus and God are separate. That removes a lot of problems for them during a debate. They say Jesus is God the Son, God is the Father. They say they have different roles & do different things. They say this because they realize in the Bible it makes them 2 different things throughout & they even talk to each other (yes, even when Jesus is no longer in the flesh). Oh yeah, and about 100 years after this, they threw in the Holy Spirit into the mix, to make it a trinity instead of a duality. So they created the trinity doctrine to have the best of both worlds: Jesus still gets to be God Almighty, yet at the same time he is a different person! Wow!
But the Oneness/Apostolic, etc. people try to wash out of their minds all of the verses that show they are different. They say there is only 1 God, and Jesus was merely a manifestation of God in the flesh.
Only one problem though, Jesus is still around in heaven! What? Wouldn’t a manifestation of God in the flesh be THE God again when he got back to heaven? Why would he still be separate? Is the whirlwind God manifested as in Job going to be there too? What about the burning bush? Yet Revelation & mountains of other scriptures show us a 2 different identities in Jesus & God. The apostles say this & believed it, & Jesus believed it. Why go against their own lips!
Jesus actually takes a scroll from God’s hand in Revelation. He sits in a throne at God’s right hand, etc. This is all over the place in the bible. So here is the picture:

Jesus=God??
See how ridiculous this scenario looks? Again, the trinitarians are at least smart enough to separate the 2 so it doesn’t completely look ridiculous (although the trinity is still silly in my opinion). They at least say they are 2 different things, and that is why they talk in heaven & Jesus prayed to the “Father” on Earth.
But again, they have nothing to say about this. They just comletely ignore it. They just say nothing, or claim that it is a “mystery.” Some may actually try to say that each & every time it says, “Right hand of God” it is merely speaking of a position of authority. Wrong! Not only is it talking of a literal throne, but even if it is talking of authority, they miss the fact that it is saying he is granted the highest authority….Only Being Second to God the Father! Why would God need to sit at his own right hand? Why would God need to grant his own manifestation authority or power? HUH? God already has all authority. Why would he need to re-grant it to himself? Why would he inherity power from his own self? So therefore, he can’t be God!!
What If Jesus is Not God at All? What if He is Only What the Bible Says? The Son of God & Messiah? Does that Make Sense?
Let us see if this picture makes sense, as obviously the other two don’t at all to anyone being honest with themselves! Not only that, but this isn’t “mysterious” like the other 2 doctrines. In fact, it makes perfect sense! Does it contradict scripture? Not at all! It perfectly fits right in. Even the couple of “apparent’ contradictions are explained so easily, there is no need to add a “mysteriousness” to it.
It is all black & white! So here is the picture:

God's Son
Wait a second here….Ding, Ding, Ding…We have a winner! Makes perfect sense! Doesn’t look ridiculous at all.

Conclusion: I love all of my Christian friends, and even non-Christian friends, and all who believe in God (and those who don’t too). But I do enjoy talking theology. I think it is quite clear that Jesus is not God. No doctrine you can make up makes sense, because it simply isn’t true!
God is God Almighty, the father, the Supreme God of all. Jesus is God’s only begotten Son, the Messiah, etc.
