Do You Find it Offensive When Christians Act Holy or Better Than You?

I think it is offensive for anyone to act arrogant or propose they are better than you because of their beliefs. What most people don’t realize is that they are committing the sin of pride when they do that.

A truly Godly person should love all peoples, regardless of exact denomination, religion, skin color, etc. Never should they act arrogant like that, and act as if you are lower quality or silly for not believing exactly what they believe.

It is a tragedy that so many people that believe in God, try to segregate themselves into different denominations and sects. If only we could all work together, and forget the small things we disagree on (especially the things in the bible such as doctrines that aren’t clearly commanded or spelled out).

We should all have friends with different beliefs/faiths. I think that is how it should be. We shouldn’t judge others based on their beliefs. Nor should we try to force our beliefs on others.

Why are Don’t Some Christians Love Thy Neighbor? Arrogent?

There are lots of so called “Christians” that go around acting like they are holier than thou. When the truth is, they are probably worse in God’s eyes, than someone who does bad and yearns to be a better person.

I agree that they are wrong when they get this “I am better than you” attitude. That is not the way God is, I don’t think from reading the Bible that is the way Jesus was either.

Just keep in mind, there are some really dumb people that call themselves “Christians.” But even Jesus said there will be people like that, and He will tell them he did not know them. Forget about the bads ones, and don’t let them sway your way of thinking.

Saying Christianity or belief in God is wrong or bad, just because there are a few bad apples out there, is not really fair. I believe in God, and I also see the stupid/sinful/idiotic ways of so called “Christians.” I certainly don’t agree with a lot of things some of these people do.

But I have also been around people, that made me happier, inspired me, made me want to be a better person, because they were the true example of what a “Christian” is really supposed to be like. I think that is the difference. You have to look at how people live their life, not what they claim.

That is how you know a true “Christian” when you see one. The walk the walk and talk the talk. Not just talk the talk and do just as bad as anyone else, or have this arrogant attitude or something.
