You may be wondering, “What is Christian apologetics?”  Wikipedia.org defines the term Christian apologetics as a field of study concerned with the systematic defense of Christianity.

Apologetics doesn’t mean “apology.” It is simply the defense and/or explanation of a particular Christian doctrine.  In this apologetics section, we will try to offer realistic explanations of Christian doctrine that may seem difficult to comprehend. We also discuss difficulties with the Bible, such as things that at first sight seem inaccurate, contradictory, or unscientific.

The Bible is a long & complex book, spanning thousands of years and compiled by multiple writers.  There are many points which may seem difficult to understand, or even contradictory. However, the Bible has stood as one guide that has triumphed under the scrutiny of thousands of unbelievers.

Throughout this website, I will attempt to address (among other things) some common “difficulties” in the Bible. There have been many things I have personally been confused about, but then once I realize that there is a plausible explanation, it all makes sense.
