Is Australopithecus Sediba Missing Link of Evolution? A Christian’s Creationist Perspective

Another scientist is claiming to have found the “missing link” in our “alleged” monkey history. The Australopithecus sediba fossil was found in a cave in South Africa. As I read the story, I quickly yawned. Unfortunately, claiming to have found the missing link is becoming more common than claims that the world will end in 2012. And neither one gets me too excited (or has solid science behind it).

My Christian/Creationist Perspective on the Fossil Find: Will the Real Missing Link Please Stand Up?

First, just let me say that since the story broke, I haven’t found too many creationists replies on the web. That is the main reason for this post. I wanted to provide an alternative view of this nonsense, and point out the absurdity of it.

How many “missing link” claims have been made at this point? Gosh, I have lost count. I thought “missing link” was singular, but so many have been found (and subsequently been proven false), that I can’ t even keep up. Perhaps we should change it to “missing linksssss.”

We had the recent Darwinius masillae fossil, which I knew would quickly get proven false. We have had Pitiful Piltdown Man, and countless other fossils dubbed as THE LINK, which were also subsequently proven false or a hoax. So is this the true missing link? Of course not.

Renowned paleontologist Meave Leakey said the following:

“This is an outstanding find and Lee should really be congratulated. However I do not think that they have anything to do with Homo or the ancestry of Homo.”

So once again we have a monkey, not a link. Not surprising at all. Every single fossile they find will either be complete monkey, or complete human. No shock there since there are no “homo-monkeys.” Except for those that exist today with an odd sexuality choice…

Why Scientists Still Can’t Find the Missing Link After All These Years

Gosh golly, how many years has it been now since Darwin’s lie book was published? How many thousands, hundreds of thousands, or millions of dollars have been consumed in the search for a missing link? And after all this time and money, we have nothing but 100% monkeys, 100% humans, and hoaxes? Hmm.

I suppose I know the answer: They can’t find a fossil that doesn’t exist. Right? It is going to be rather difficult to find a missing link that doesn’t exist in the first place isn’t it? I think so. So they can keep digging and shelling out the big bucks in their quest, but their journey will be fruitless. Surely at some point you would think they would get the hint, but not so. They have more faith than any religious person I know, and their incredible religious faith that they were once a monkey will not be shaken. No, not by a long shot.

And by the way, what happened to cancer and world  hunger? I guess digging up monkey bones is much more important, huh?

A Quick Message to Theistic Evolution Christians

What saddens me most is not the incessant need for some skeptics to be monkey relatives (by the way, keep the bananas out of sight from these folks, they go ape crazy!). What saddens me most is the individuals who do believe in God, yet have been so confused and brainwashed by secular professors that they actually somehow splice the two opposing theories together. I suppose they fear being ridiculed for taking a creationists stance, so they cling to the theory of evolution like a fly on feces.

Evolution and creation are about as contradictory as you can imagine. Does micro-evolution exist? Absolutely. That is science, and that is observable. Does macro-evolution exist? Only in the imaginations of people with no faith in God. There is ZERO hard science for it. Period. They can’t even find 1 serious fossil to prove it.

If you are a believer who actually accepts the theory of evolution, you are suffering from a delusion. That is about the only thing I will ever agree with Richard Squawkins Dawkins about. Do you really have faith in God if you doubt the first page of His book? Is God pleased with that kind of faith?  After all, as the bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” (Hebrews 11:6). So how do you think God views your faith?

And yet, you claim to believe in this God, and don’t even take the first page of the book seriously. How can you ever deny the creative power of God, and assume he is merely joking around in Genesis, as if it is all an allegorical gag? How can you take God to be kidding when the first page says there was no death until the fall of Adam and Eve (which is kinda required for evolution and salvation)?

How can you stand and watch mankind create new animals and species via genetic engineering (ie, they didn’t have to evolve and were CREATED in their final form), and yet you deny that God could do the same? Folks, if man can do it, you better believe God can. Anything man can do, God can do better

So believers, take the creative power of your God more seriously, and stop getting scammed and swayed by non-believers who have an agenda.

Atheists Play the Old “God is Evil for Haiti Earthquake” Card Again

In my experience, it seems that some Atheists love when a natural disaster strikes in some part of the world. Because that gives them an opportunity to play their old, “God is evil for allowing this” card. As if that this their big “trump card” against God or something. In fact, on various forums and blogs I have seen so many atheists coming out and mocking God repeatedly.

These atheists I am referring to love saying things like, “God is evil because those innocent people died,” Or “How do you Christians Account for the Suffering in Haiti if God is So Good?” Or, “If God is All-Powerful, Why Didn’t He Stop the Earthquake?”

To me, I find these arguments and criticisms of God HILARIOUS and Juvenile!  It shows you firsthand just how hypocritical some people are in the atheist community. So just for the record, lets briefly compare beliefs and see which one seems the most unjust, evil, and silly.

Beliefs About God & Suffering

The bible teaches that God loves all of His creation, and feels pain when we feel pain. It teaches that God is just, and one day all people will be resurrected and judged. It says that those who were righteous inherit eternal life-free of suffering and pain, with eternal existence. In other words, all people who deserve heaven get it. And since God knows all things and all deeds, He won’t get it wrong.

So what that means is this: When a little child gets smashed by a large building in Haiti earthquakes, it is a very sad experience and we all feel sadness for the pain that child felt. But we don’t look at God as “evil.” How is He evil, when he guarantees that child will now feel eternal peace and happiness? How is it evil when that child is resurrected right back to life, to stand for judgement?

Yet again and again some atheists I have spoken to online want to play the “God is evil card.” Really? So a God that allows temporary suffering is now evil? Even in the face of eternal happiness, peace, and justice? Wow, if that is evil, then give me some of that! Supersize me some evil! Especially when this “evil God” is compared to godless evolution and natural selection.

Beliefs About Evolution & Suffering

The hypocrisy of these atheists I spoke to comes blatantly clear once we compare beliefs. It becomes quickly obvious which is the real “evil” god, and which is the hypocrite.

Evolution and natural selection THRIVE on death. They offer no hope of justice. They care nothing about the tears streaming down your face. In fact, while some atheists like to mock God and say he allowed the death (which somehow makes Him evil even though He brings them back to life), they somehow forget that their godless beliefs of evolution and natural selection are responsible for EVERY DEATH on the planet since life began. Wow, sounds even more murderous than the God of the Bible to me, which offers eternal LIFE (not death).

Wow, and not only that, but when you factor in that there is no hope, no justice, no judgement, no peace, no happiness afterwards….just death….Wow. I think it is painfully clear which is more wicked: godless evolution by far.

Because from the view of evolution, that same child that was crushed by a building was cheated out of the 1 life it will ever have. It is simply because that child wasn’t biologically adapted to survive building crashing on it. Therefore, it died. Now that is what I call a waste of a life. That is what I call a sad life. That is what I call an INJUSTICE. A God that now comforts that child while it awaits judgment certainly is better than the evil wicked godless process of evolution which stripped that child of life leaving it for dead—permanently.
